As Los Angeles has faced the fire of their most destructive forest in history, tens of thousands of buildings have been destroyed, and hundreds of thousands have been forced to flee their homes. The largest Blaze in the Pacific Palisads region is burning more than 23,000 acres, causing the city’s worst fire. To understand the scale, the affected area is spread over the lower manhattan and large parts of the Queens in New York.
